5/32" Mild Steel Rods


Broco Underwater Softouch Electrodes achieve the highest level of radiographic and mechanical test results for wet welds, meeting or exceeding AWS D 3.6 standards in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead).

Softouch mild steel electrodes are performance certified by lot. Third party welded and tested, Softouch 1/8" electrodes are provided with actual tensile strength, yield and elongation values and weld metal chemistry. Softouch mild and stainless steel electrodes are available in 1/8", 5/32" and 3/16" diameter.

Softouch wet welding electrodes are packaged in a rigid resealable plastic tube which provides maximum protection. The color-coded end caps denote mild or stainless steel rods. Operating guidelines are printed on the labels.
